How is password strength calculated?
Strength is based on length and character variety. Longer passwords with uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters score higher. The meter shows Weak (red), Medium (yellow), or Strong (green).
What length should I choose?
For most accounts, 12-16 characters is recommended. For high-security accounts (banking, email), use 20+ characters with all character types enabled.
Are my passwords saved?
The last 5 generated passwords are temporarily stored in your browser's memory for convenience. They are lost when you close or refresh the page. No passwords are ever stored on our servers.
